The next ITF Worldwide Coaches Conference
The ITF is pleased to announce that the 17th ITF Worldwide Coaches Conference will be held at the Port Ghalib Red Sea Resort, Egypt from 20 - 24 November 2011.
What?
The ITF Worldwide Coaches Conference is the showpiece of the ITF’s Coach Education Programme. This five day event offers a perfect combination of coaches education, sport science up-to-date information and practical on-court coaching presentations.
Where?
The ITF organises, in conjunction with the host National Association, this educational gathering in different parts of the world. To date, the event has been held in America, Europe, Asia and Africa and Southern Africa.
How often and when?
This event is held every two years. It is usually held during the months of October/November.
Which topics?
The ITF Worldwide Coaches Conference typically deals with issues related to high level player development, professional tennis coaching, applied sport science for top coaching, coaches education, etc.
Who can participate?
Coaches interested in attending should approach their National Associations to be nominated to participate.
Information on the 2011 conference will become available through a dedicated website from April 2011.
