Training is also an essential part of any tennis players’ programme. The ITF regularly organises short training camps on a regional basis, which enables some of the best players in the region to not only practise together, but also to educate and update coaches from the region in high-level training methods.
Three ITF Junior Training Camps took place in 2011 as follows:
27 June - 10 July: Central Asian Training Camp – Tashkent, Uzbekistan
11 - 25 September: High Performance Evaluation Camp for Asian Male Players - Bangkok, Thailand
03 - 08 October: ITF/COTECC Caribbean Regional Training Camp - Curacao
