Eligible nations continue to receive ITF branded equipment via the ITF Equipment Distribution Programme (EDP). The Equipment Distribution Programme provides a limited amount of basic tennis equipment, free of charge, for use by National Associations in their Development Programmes. The equipment allocated to National Associations is based on their needs, depending on the programmes they have in place (including the Junior Tennis Initiative) and economic conditions in the country. Use of the equipment must be documented on a regular basis.
In addition, equipment is also distributed for other development programmes such as Coaches Courses, Circuits and Teams. In 2011 alone, more than 95 national associations benefited from the ITF Equipment Distribution Programme, with the following quantities being distributed throughout the year:
| Description | Quantity sent out in 2011 | | Rackets | 4,776 | | Mini tennis bats | 4,250 | | Balls | 139,560 balls / 11,630 dozen |
