2020 ITF Regional Coaches Conferences by BNP Paribas

The ITF Academy played virtual host to the three ITF Regional Coaches Conferences by BNP Paribas that took place in December, a virtual solution to preserve the opportunity for the global coaching community to meet and hear from experts in the field on a number of educational and development topics.

Three separate conferences took place, for English, French and Spanish speakers, with a number of top international players, former players and experts in coaching offering their insight on a wide range of topics.

Speakers included Olympic medal winner Leander Paes, ITF Board member Salma Mouelhi Guizani and world-renowned coach Louis Cayer.

The conferences included question and answer sessions and covered topics including Participation, Physical Conditioning, Biomechanics, Psychology, the Female Game, the Transition from Junior to Professional Game and Developing Top Junior Players. 

The ITF’s Regional Coaches Conferences by BNP Paribas take place every two years and provide an education forum to share insight and expertise and hear from some of the leading coaches in the game.

The conferences focus on coach education for the top tennis coaches in their specific region and typically deal with a variety of topics from high-level player development to strategies for increasing tennis participation.
