Draper, Boulter to lead British singles hopes at Paris 2024 Olympics
Great Britain has announced its line-up for the Paris 2024 Olympic Tennis Event, with new British No. 1 Jack Draper leading the men’s field and Katie Boulter flying the flag in the women’s event.
World No. 39 Cam Norrie, No. 59 Dan Evans and No. 129 Andy Murray complete the British contingent for the men’s singles event, with 37-year-old Murray handed an ITF place by virtue of being a three-time Grand Slam and two-time Olympic champion.
It will be the first time since London 2012 that Team GB will be represented by four men in singles, although Boulter stands alone in the women’s singles event with no other Brits ranked inside the WTA Top 100 and Emma Raducanu electing not to take up an ITF Place offered to her as a former Grand Slam champion.

World doubles No. 5 Joe Salisbury and No. 16 Neal Skupski, who competed at Tokyo 2020 alongside alongside Andy and Jamie Murray, respectively, are set to compete in the men’s doubles, with the Brits also intending to enter Murray and Evans as a pair, and Boulter/Heather Watson and Harriet Dart/Maia Lumsden as teams in the women's doubles event.
“We are thrilled with the team that we have been able to select for these Olympic Games in Paris, which promises to be one of the most exciting yet and we are all really looking forward to being part of Team GB," said Iain Bates, LTA Olympic Team Leader.
"We are delighted to have four players in Jack, Cam, Dan and Katie all making their debut this year, joined by a decorated Olympian in Andy and a strong pairing of Joe and Neal playing their second Olympics.”
The ITF will announce the full entry list for the Paris 2024 Olympic Tennis Event here on 4 July
