Draw made for 2023 ITF World Tennis Tour Junior Finals in Chengdu

The draw has been made for the 2023 ITF World Tennis Tour Junior Finals in Chengdu, China.

The ITF Junior Finals is a prestigious showpiece event which sees eight of the best boys and girls on the planet do battle at the Sichuan International Tennis Centre in Chengdu.

The eight boys and eight girls are split into two groups of four, with the top two in each group advancing to the semi-finals following three days of round-robin matches, which begin on Wednesday.

New for 2023, there is an alternate player on site in Chengdu for both the boys' and girls' events. These players – Tianhui Zhang (CHN) and Yichen Zhao (CHN) – are there in case of injury but also to gain invaluable experience alongside some of the best junior players on the planet.  

The following ties will be contested on day one (Wednesday) of the 2023 ITF World Tennis Tour Junior Finals. 

Boys: Group A

The winner of the boys’ and girls’ events will each earn 750 ranking points, which will boost their quest to finish the 2023 season as the year-end junior world No. 1. In turn, this will contribute to players benefitting from the Junior Exempt and Junior Accelerator Programmes.

Furthermore, players will also benefit from travel grants to support their future progression to professional tennis. The 2023 winners will receive up to $18,500 USD, with travel grants staggered at every level through to those in eighth position who will receive a minimum of $6,000 USD.   

Play gets underway at 10am (GMT+8) China Standard Time.
