ITF & iSPORTCONNECT global forum: Level the Playing Field

On 12 April, the ITF brought together influential and inspirational individuals from sport and business to debate and advance gender equality in proactive, solution-focused discussions.

This latest initiative under the ITF Advantage All strategy opened with Billie Jean King live in conversation with Catherine Whitaker, and was followed by two panel discussions:

Change the System
The panel addressed the key issues related to inequalities in leadership positions and decision making roles.

A discussion focused on the portrayal and perception of women’s sports and female athletes in the media and on social media. The ITF commissioned Ipsos Mori to undertake a first of-its-kind global research project to inform this discussion.
