Obituary: Edwin Lee

The ITF is saddened to learn of the death of Edwin Lee, the former President of the Singapore Tennis Association, who passed away on 29 May.

Lee headed up the STA for over a decade and half from 2000-2015, and had served as an advisor ever since.

A driving forced behind the development of tennis in Singapore, he supported players, events and generously donated to the federation during a period of insolvency in the early 2000s.

He continued to donate generously to tennis performance initiatives ever since and left his mark on the association for his kindness and generosity, as well as his development work.
