For the first time since 2019, Trinidad and Tobago has an event on the ITF World Tennis Masters Tour calendar.

Running from 24-26 March 2023, MT100 Tacarigua is an exciting new event open to players of all levels.

The Chetwynd Lawn Tennis Club first hosted its annual Adult Tournament in 2013. The club is an active presence in its community and has introduced and nurtured many young players along their tennis pathway. However, the club has always held adult tennis as its focus, as it strives to keep Masters-level tennis alive in Trinidad and Tobago. At the same time, this needs to contribute to the general good health and wellness of this demographic.

The seventh annual tournament will be held in conjunction with the Tennis Association of Trinidad and Tobago at the National Racquet Center, Tacarigua. This year, with the upgrade of the tournament to an ITF Masters event, tournament organisers believe that it will bolster participation and the international reach of tennis in Trinidad and Tobago.

In the past, the club has welcomed tennis enthusiasts from Aruba, Grenada, St. Croix, St. Lucia, Bonaire and the United States of America.

This year participants will compete in the following categories:

Men 35 Singles

Women 35 Singles

Men 35 Doubles

Women 35 Doubles

Men 60 Singles

Men 45 Singles

Men 60 Doubles

Mixed Doubles

The National Racquet Centre is located 15 minutes from the Piarco International Airport and 10 minutes from the Official Hotel, the Holiday Inn Express and the Monte Cristo Inn. The NRC boasts 12 hard courts, eight of which are outdoor hard courts, including one 1500 capacity stadium court and four indoor courts.

The Chetwynd Tennis Club looks forward to welcoming all Masters players to Trinidad & Tobago, the home of Calypso Music, Soca Music, Steelband and Carnival.
