Novak Djokovic won his eighth Australian Open title and his 17th Grand Slam crown after recovering from two sets to one down to beat Dominic Thiem 6-4 4-6 2-6 6-3 6-4.
With the victory at the 2020 Australian Open in Melbourne, Djokovic became the third man in the Open era to win eight singles titles at a single major, after Roger Federer at Wimbledon and Rafael Nadal at Roland Garros.
Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury won the men's doubles, defeating Max Purcell and Luke Saville 6-4 6-2 in the final.
