The Beach Tennis World Cup (formerly known as the Beach Tennis World Team Championship) is a mixed competition in which nations compete against each other as a team. Each team is comprised of two men and two women, with ties consisting of a men’s doubles, women’s doubles and a mixed doubles match.
The 2024 event took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil on 10-15 December.
Italy defended their title after a 2-0 triumph over Spain in the final. It was their sixth World Cup crown having also reigned supreme in 2012, 2014-15, 2017 and 2022.
They also reached the 2023 final against Brazil, only for bad weather to end proceedings with no champion crowned with the tie locked at 1-1.
Junior event
The 2015 championship was the first to feature a junior event, introducing a new generation to team competition.
