Overview

Diede de Groot, Alfie Hewett and Niels Vink won the titles at the 2023 NEC Wheelchair Singles Masters, while at the ITF Doubles Masters, Sam Schroder and Vink won the quad title, Hewett and Gordon Reid won the men's title, and Yui Kamiji and South Africa’s Kgothatso Montjane claimed the women's crown.

Hosted by the Catalan Tennis Federation, the ITF's year-end wheelchair tennis championships on the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour took place on 30 October – 5 November 2023 at the Emilio Sanchez Academy.

A total of 38 players from 15 countries took part in the NEC Wheelchair Singles Masters and ITF Wheelchair Doubles Masters.

Spain was the fifth country to host the NEC Wheelchair Singles Masters and the fourth country to host the Doubles Masters. Netherlands and USA are the only other nations to have hostesd the Singles Masters and Doubles Masters simultaneously.

The NEC Wheelchair Singles Masters, which was first held in 1994, is the ITF year-end championship for the world’s top eight men’s, women’s and quad singles players.

The ITF Wheelchair Doubles Masters is the ITF’s flagship wheelchair tennis doubles event. First staged in 2000, the season-ending event features the world’s top eight men’s doubles partnerships, top six women’s doubles partnerships and top four quad doubles partnerships.
