Overview

Kazakhstan's National Tennis Center will host an ITF World Tennis Tour tournament at W60 level on 21-27 February 2022.

The event will feature players from the world's Top 100 and Top 200, including Belgian Greet Minnen (WTA - 96), winner of four Grand Slams in doubles Hungarian Timea Babos (WTA - 202), Britain's Harriet Dart (WTA - 132), Japan's Miya Hontama (WTA - 138), Ukrainian Daria Snigur (WTA - 141), Spaniard Aliona Bolsova (WTA - 151) and Georgian Mariam Bolkvadze (WTA - 177), amongst others.

Amongst the homegrown interest are Zhibek Kulambayeva, Gozal Ainitdinova, Aruzhan Sagandykova, Dana Baidaulet and Yekaterina Dmitirichenko.

The last tournament at this level in Nur-Sultan was won by Mariam Bolkvadze from Georgia last summer.
