Georgia’s Rome Tennis Open is an indoor tournament and will take place at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College. The Rome Tennis Center is one of the nation’s largest tennis facilities (57 courts) and has been recognised as one of the 'USTA’s Outstanding Facilities of the Year' and named 'Municipal Facility of the Year' by Racquet Sports Industry Magazine.
Past winners include Irene Burillo Escorihuela (2021); Tatjana Maria (2022) who went on to her first major semi-final at Wimbledon that same year; Peyton Stearns (January 2023) and McCartney Kessler (October 2023). McCartney Kessler is from nearby Calhoun, Georgia, and grew up playing junior tournaments in Rome.
