Novak Djokovic became just the sixth player in history to win 20 Grand Slam titles with victory at 2021 Wimbledon, beating Italy’s Matteo Berrettini over four rollercoaster sets in the final, 6-7(4) 6-4 6-4 6-3.
As a result, Djokovic, for the first time in his career, stood level with both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal on 20 Grand Slam titles apiece.
2021 Wimbledon marked the return of the tournament after it was cancelled for the first time since World War II in 2020 because of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
